3 IMPORTANT THINGS THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW IF YOU JUST STARTED WORKING OUT

So, You started working out, that’s great. You took a huge step to improve your life but remember getting started is just a half of success. You must be consistent in order to get the body you want. I’m going to give you 3 tips to make your journey a lot easier. Let’s get into it.

1-Focus on your form, avoid ego lifting

First of all, I’ve got to tell you, there will always be better guys than you in the gym at the beginning. Don’t compare with yourself with anyone else, focus on yourself ignore everything else. Focus on performing properly, don’t steal from the exercise.

Don’t add extra weight just to feel better. If you focus on weights instead of form, you will more likely to injure yourself. Remember, you won’t feel better injured and you won’t grow. Learn how to perform properly in the beginning because if you learn wrong, you will slow down your muscle growth process and invite injuries.

2-Choose compound exercises over isolation

In the beginning, you should focus on your overall strength in order to build more muscle and get a balanced body. Isolation exercises focus on one muscle and they will be needed when you can’t give the muscle enough stress to make it grow. In the beginning process all muscles will grow in any case. Your program should be based on squat, deadlift, bench press, shoulder press pull-ups, etc. But I WARN you first of all you must be able to perform these exercises properly especially squat and deadlift, otherwise injuries would be inevitable. 

3- Don’t waste money on supplements

A lot of excited guys spend tons of money on supplements at the beginning Look, most of the supplements are bullshit. They don’t help you as much as you think they do. You should spend your money wisely. Focus on eating clean and healthy and that would be enough for the start. Don’t get me wrong I’m not against supplements. Some of them will be necessary at some point but not in the beginning. I know you are excited and you want to be in great shape as quickly as possible but you must be patient. Stick to your program and eat clean. But if you say I’m gonna buy, choose wisely.
